Audience Engagement
Audience engagement is a very important aspect to social media. Being able to participate in polls, free response, and many more interactive parts is not only fun, but helpful. I did not realize how important these surveys were until I finally did one. It is exciting to see what students think and see.

To gain audience attention, it is necessary to make sure that students are being covered. They like to be seen in photos and I must make sure I report the correct information. As shown in this picture, there are students shown which raise the amount of likes and comments.
Though I do not write many stories, as an editor, I need to ensure my staffers are producing quality work. An important part of this is to bring in the audience. As an editor, I like to try new things and add new twists to my staffers writing. One important one that I have been doing it adding hyperlinks to certain sections of a story. On the right we can see an edit of me wondering if we can hyper-link and certain word, so the audience can click on it after or while they are reading. This is such an important thing to help engage the audience to other stories we have created.
